BROWN TROUT INN

 The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn is a country house hotel with a difference; the guestrooms are laid out in a courtyard next to the main building in the style of a motel. The hotel provides a relaxing environment in which to enjoy the excellent accommodation, fine food or a round of golf.

The Brown Trout has a combination of three star hotel rooms and five star cottage suites. The bedrooms are in a courtyard adjacent to the main building and are laid out in American style with two double beds, with an extra guest bed available if required. All the rooms are very accessible for disabled quests. Room facilities include TV, iron, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The cottage suites give you the added advantage of a cottage living area with a real peat fire, a fully equipped kitchen and a luxurious lounge overlooking the golf course.


The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn is in Aghadowey. It is a 30 minute drive from Coleraine which has a good range of shopping and entertainment facilities. The hotel has its own 9-hole golf course and there are many other fine courses within an easy drive, including the famous links course of Royal Portrush.

The bar food at the Brown Trout is fresh and exciting; anything from crab chowder to home-baked pies. The restaurant has an extensive menu where again the focus is on excellent home cooking. At weekends, there's nowhere better than the Brown Trout bar for live music and the craic.
