GLASDRUMMAN LODGE

Glassdrumman Lodge lies in the heart of the ancient ‘Kingdom of Mourne’, on the Co Down coast. This majestic friendly range of mountains, rich in history and legend, is one of the most picturesque districts in the island of Ireland. The magnificent forests of Tollymore and Castlewellan are situated within a short distance.

The Lodge is owned by Graeme and Joan Hall whose philosophy is "Simple Excellence" and have already gained a widespread reputation and acclaim for its food and elegance. The peaceful atmosphere is enhanced by gastronomic delights, fresh produce from the gardens and local ports supplying fresh sea and shellfish - oysters a speciality. This family run restaurant is highly recommended by many international good food and hotel guides.

There are ten well appointed bedrooms ensuite, 24 hour room service, direct dial telephone, colour tv, overnight laundry and a secretarial service. Ideal facilities for small executive conferences.

In the grounds there is a one acre fly fishing lake, well stocked with rainbow trout, for guests who think walking on the local beaches or hiking in the Mournes is too energetic.
