IMPERIAL Located on the prestigious South Mall, the Imperial
Hotel has been serving Cork city since 1813 when the Cork Committee of
Merchants commissioned Thomas Deane to design and build The Commercial
Rooms. The building was extended in the 1840's and became an hotel in
1845. Michael Collins, who negotiated the Free State Treaty in 1921 spent his last night in the hotel. Today, visitors from all over the world visit this charming hotel. The Imperial Hotel offers spacious and inviting accommodation, designed to offer our guests the comforts of a home or office away from home. All of our 90 luxurious en-suite bedrooms of which 10 are executive guest rooms are tastefully decorated with warm relaxing colours such as gold's and browns.
